SPECIALIZED CARE

At Accessible Home Health Care we understand that your home health care needs may vary. We are committed to tailor our services to serve you better. Often times this requires caregivers to have a certain level of experience, certifications and training.

Listed below are some of the specialty services that we provide.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care –

One of the earliest symptoms of Alzheimer's disease is memory loss / Dementia. This is followed by cognitive decline and also changes in personality and behavior. Alzheimer's & dementia require certified caregivers and specially trained care providers to properly care for these patients. As the disease progresses, it becomes more difficult for loved ones to continue to care for the patient due to the strain on the loved ones.

Parkinson's Care –

There are four primary symptoms of Parkinson's disease. These are tremors, rigidity/ stiffness, slow movement and postural imbalance. As these symptoms increase individuals may have trouble with their mobility or performing their activities of daily living. Our trained and experienced caregivers will assist your loved one with their daily tasks while respecting their pride & independence.

Cardiac Care –

Cardiac Care patients require specialty care during the convalescence period and on a continuing basis thereafter. We consult with the physician and therapist to customize a Plan of Care for each stage of recovery. When continuing care, our caregivers concentrate on educating the patient on exercising and developing healthy eating habits.

Muscular Disability –

Muscular disabilities, including stroke related paralysis or Multiple Sclerosis may restrict your loved one's mobility and they may require assistance with their personal & daily living needs. Accessible Home Health Care caregivers are trained & experienced and fully understand the frustration our patients feel due to their condition.

Healthy Baby Care –

Healthy Baby Care is important with a newborn, especially when a mother just needs a well-deserved break or when her new daily routine becomes overwhelming. Our trained caregivers will assist you with caring for your baby while providing a mother with the time to do her errands or just take it easy and relax.

Senior Health –

Senior Health monitoring allows us to be your eyes and ears with your loved senior family members. We will visit your loved ones in their homes or in a facility and observe their living conditions, hygiene, medicine, food and their mental/physical condition. We will submit a complete report to you within 24 hours of the visit or sooner if the situation merits immediate action.

Due to the complexity and nature of the above listed conditions, we at Accessible, only assign trained & experienced caregivers to patients with these conditions. This enables proper care for our patients.
